How to disable the audio voice altogether ?

Hi every bloody, I was wondering if any one knows how to disable the audio commentary completely on the 5100. It is great if you are in need of the feature, but I am fortunate enough not to need it. The problem lies when you set the timer record feature and it engages the audio automaticaly. Would be very grateful for any advice. Thanks

    Hi,
I pressed the red button and selected option 2. This turned it off for me. Not sure if thats a permanent fix or not but may help.

Found the exact same problem - can anyone help as it is a real nuisance when you record anything.
