Hello to all.I recently loaded the latest nagra 2 fix on to my box.(non clone)I said downloaded successfull and appeared to be fine.I unplugged the null modem and power supply and connected it to my telly.Its completely dead now,no led on etc.Its getting main voltage.Has anyone had similiar problems,any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Some clones have had the heatsink removed as it was possible to identify them quite easliy. Sounds like you may have had a clone and bricked it with the latest firmware.
You can jtag it back to life but that is of no use to you in Ireland as you need the latest firmware on it for it to work. There is a working TSOP for you box in downloads and you can get a Jtag kit from tailormadecircuits, but I am unsure if it will work once flashed again with the latest firmware.
Try your supplier first and see will they replace the box for you before you do anything else.I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams -
Hi Satsmo.Thats exactly what i didnt want to hear!.I bought it form a reputable dealer in the uk(he assured me it wasnt a clone!).Is there any other way to tell if its genuine?.Is it completed to jtag it back to life and can you do it on a laptop?Comment
