ex7000 hd

:I have just got myself a new ex7000, and i am having problems trying to download the softwere.I have downloaded the newest firmwere dated 12/03/09 to a usb stick, i follow the instructions and put in the back of the box reboot and nothink. Channels scrambleed.
The box is saying last update 14/01/09. Please help, pulling my hair out.

have you put the whole file onto the momory pen you have to click on it and use only the flash tbn

It shows the full file in the file list, plus a application.tbn.
But in the file transfer it only says the application file tbn. dont know wot this means.

the file flash tbn is the one you put onto your memory pen then in the back of the box switch off/on with the switch on the back of the box and the file should download to the box

i,m havin the same problems flashing the box , tried loads of times, but now losing my rag ,should i go back to my blue box??????????

Hi m8 never give up if you can flash a blue box then you can do this one it is very easy as you will find out when you get it , just put the flash tbn 12 /3 /09 onto your memory stick then into the back of the box switch off/on with the switch at the back of the box the box will reboot find the flash and install it if you still get it to work try a earlier firmware

I went to argos and got a ?6.99 flash drive, reloaded the softwere from 4shared.com and downloaded to the ex7000, rescaned and got all the channels but the one i wanted. sky sports 1(iwill try a new scan later) Meny thanks for your help.
