if you need to single out a certain frequency for special attention access the menu of the eurovox, and goto the User installation section. Choose fast install > press Red as instructed (remeber to turn off the autosort if you have your own channels set to how you like them, again remeber to press exit rather than ok to get back to the previous page). You should now see a list of frequencies, scroll through them untill you see the freq you want to rescan, then press ok, a tick should appear next to the chosen freq (repeat this for all the freqs you want to check. Now you can do two things...either update channels or perform a manual scan (it will give you the colour of the button to press for either of these options). If you are having the same trouble as i had and your settings are the same (5a01, 6.952 etc etc) i would head straight for 227.000mhz and try that one first.
(edit) Most of all make sure there are no splitters / other equipment attached to the cable as this can also have an effect when scanning.
Word of warning, if you do call the VirMin guys out remember to re-install your original box and stuff your Max V remote behind the sofa before they get there,
.
Hope this helps mate.
