Ok so some of you will have read my previous thread on not being able to get ESPN on my Max V when no-one else seems to be having a problem.
I decided to investigate a little further by re-connecting my V box, and even it will not show the ESPN channel. It is in my tv guide and coloured white in the list (denoting that i should be able to view) whereas the subscription channels i dont have are a subdued grey colour.
I phoned customer services who were as good as useless saying that it was only XL customers who were getting the channel,... this was at a time when i was sat directly infront of an advert on the bottom of the legitimate channel guide saying ESPN free to ALL VM customers untill end of August and the box saying "try again later" on my screen rather than the usual "you have not subscribed" blerb.
The girl i spoke to didnt have a clue and didnt understand a word when i tried to explain to her how the channel guide worked and how i could tell that i was supposed to be able to recieve the above channel.
Very very frustrated....football is my life..... ESPN is very important i am even considering getting the 7000hd because my old MaxV gets the ESPN HD channel no problem.
Before i take the plunge, has anyone got a definitive answer to my problem, and is the EX7000 worth it if Nag3 is not far away?.
