can anybody tell me what is wrong with euro cable boxes in irvine

have you lost all channels? who is your provider? Do you subscribe to a package? are you sure its all of Irvine.

Have you called your supplier??

cable company box is fine, done the fast install with fta euro 5100 ,finds all channels but only plays bbc all epgs load up but wont show the channel the box works fine in the glasgow area have they changed from nagra to something else

So the only channel you have is bbc?

I am not familiar with these boxes but you need to give as much info as possible before folk can help you.

Why did you ask what is wrong with boxes in Irvine. Do you think other people in your area are also having this problem??


Is this the first time you have done a scan on the box? Did you follow the instructions in this guide?

eurovox 5100 bbc and itv4 seem to be the only channels o work but it has found the rest but will not transmit them to screen it says no audio/video on the screen yes mate i have loaded quite a few friends boxes in different areas like glasgow hamilton motherwell with no problems i was told that someone elses eurovox went down 2 days ago but was working ok for 2 years just incase something has happened in that area

the same thing has happend to us in carlisle we can get the BBC and some ITV chanels but that is about it

they are now in nds in irvine they exhanged boxes a few weeks ago to nds and i don't mean n3 or n2, have not heard if boxes where changed in carlisle or not

for them to use NDS i'd imagine they'd need to issue new boxes to all their subscribers

There is more info in this thread but basically your supplier changed the encryption to nds and issued new boxes so you are no longer able to get channels from your box
