Most of the cable boxes are very easy to flash, either by null modem cable or USB pen. Instructions on how to do this is available. All the latest softwa*e is available from this site.

i have the ex1000sl, the menu is poo doesnt show u programs properly, so iam looking 4 a box which will help any ideas cheers

dreambox 500c ,are good but you need some basic com skills,to ftp files to box everything u need is in this forum

try the euro))) 5100 the menu is easy with all program guides good aswell

not entirely true you can flash some variations of eurovox as some clone safe software has been released for them, but not exactly sure which types have it currently.

Have only had the 7000 a short time, had a max v for a couple of years before that though, can fully endorse the 7000. The picture quality is superb but the favourites listing and epg could be better.

to be honest im after a box with a good epg because i have the ex1000sl and i cant understand the epg properly, thanks shaun

you could try the starview i have read that has a 7 day epg
