EX 7000 and ESPN

Hi Guys
My son has got an EX 1000 SL box and can pick up the ESPN classics channel I have the EX7000 HD box and can?t find the ESPN classics channel anywhere, can the EX 7000 box get this channel or am I searching in vain?

yes you should be able to get it you may have to do a factory reset then power scan

I usually do a deep scan would this not pick up the ESPN classics channel?
If I do a factory reset would I loose all the channels on the box and then have to download the firmware again?

you don't need to factory reset or powerscan. you can gou into user installation, select all channels, then update all channels and it should find them
