Eurovox Max V Black...... Losing Channels

Hi , my brother has a Eurovox Max V
Worked fine for a couple of years but recently having problems.

Flashed a couple of times with different firmware off different sites etc...
Entered codes manully etc, full reset , powerscans , read countless posts on forums

But still same problem it seems to find all channels everything works fine for a day or so then channels start glitching losing picture
become scrambled then back again... its like an intermittent problem.

Anyone any ideas ?

I have a digivox and everything works fine on mine... just the eurovox my brothers got having problems.
