Getting no TP

I got a new Eurovox ex5100 box, have installed the current software (16-01-09). I am not picking up any TP's when I do a full scan. Is there a way where I can manual add the TP's, or is there something wrong with my box. Can someone please help.

have you put in correct symbol rate either 6.952 or 6.887
then try rescan m8

Hi m8 are you scanning the right symbol rate for your area 6887 for pure or 6952 for tw and do a deep scan(god andy4 i came a close 2nd there)

hi, thanks for the help. The cable wire is in the rf-in. I have tried 6887 and 6952 on deep scan. But still not picking up and TPs. I cable connection was with ntl. I get the level and quality at 70 percentage. But the TP stays on 000. Have you got any other suggestions.

Hi m8 your signel is to low it should be between 80 and 87 go to menu ,conf ,tv settings ,ok ,and see if the signel booster is turned on then do a factory reset then a deep scan

yea i turned that on, but there is still no channels coming up and still no tp

check all your connections are nice and tight and if you are using a splitter remove it and b4 you do a deep scan do a factory reset.

I believe I am using a direct cable wire, what does a splitter look like? The wire I am using it striaght from outside. All the connections are nice and tight.

you say here, I cable connection was with ntl ,do you still have a digital connection __________________________ and dose it come from a little white box in your house

the cable comes from a white box outside, but im not sure if it is a digital connection, they where suppsed to make it digital years ago but i dont think they did

I am thinking about testing the box at my friends house, he has got a virgin box, if I just take that out and put in my box, but what symbol rate do I use?
