Using multiply Cable boxes with splitter

Hi, can any one tell me if there will be a problem using two cable viewing boxes, in different room, via a splitter. One is a original Media V box and the other a flashed Eurovox 5100 (fully working).
I know this may seem a simple question, but thanks.

Hi m8, you will have no problem doing that as long as you have good strong signal. I have 4 euros + 1 original on one line without any problems.

should cause no problems at all but use a good quality splitter, its always best to keep the original vm box connected and left on so they can talk back to it.
