Hi,

Sorry me again! i was just wondering is there a code you have to type in on the EX1000SL like there is on the starview boxes ie 1570 to turn the emu on before trying to flash it? Just wondered if this could be why it wont flash?

Hello i seem to have the problem. all channels scrambled with a good reception.ive bought the usb lead adapter.I need to find the software to flash if its as easy as that a little help or advice would be great and much appreciated.

I believe it to be something else mate - Normally you just connect box up & hit download button - No need to turn Emu on should already be done.....Give an explanation of the problem - are you using pc or laptop or proper serial or Usb serial adapter

Hi am using a usb serial adaptor which i have used before and worked fine.
My problem is i am only getting free view channels when i plug it into computer it installs the driver and picks it up fine, i then open the loader and click start and thats when the loader crashes all the bloody time!!! so i dont know what to do?
On the system info it says:

Are u sure the deivers for the USB adaptor is installed proper.
Have u selected the correct COM port. Both PC and box must be on same COM port.(usually 1 to 4)
Try loading the softwa*e with box power off.

Yes mate tried everything now but still wont stop crashing. Could it be because im using vista?

I must admit I bought a laptop with Vista & when it didn't work downgraded to Xp and it's been fine ever since......

I dont think its Vista. I am using Vista and no problems.
Start again m8, uninstall USB adaptor software. re start PC and load again.
