What's the chronological order of events to get get the Eurovox 1000 set up?

    1. Order Box
    2. Receive Box + Cable
    3. Ring V***** and lower subscription
    4. Flash box
    5. Plug into TV
    6. Enjoy TV

    Is that about it?

That sounds about right m8, if you are in the UK.
If in Ireland, dont bother with any of the above!
SLOWLY, OUR FREEDOM IS BEING ERASED.
SOON, WE WILL JUST BE A NUMBER.
IF WE DON'T FOLLOW, WE WILL BE ERASED.

I'm non the wiser with the answer you gave (I summise you meant it was already in that socket)

so if the sound is still low.... is your sound on the TV is turned up as well as on the box
try a different scart, make sure they are fully inserted.

Yes sorry was already plugged into AV1, I have to turn the sound right up on the TV to get any quality of sound.

                  All plugged in correctly too
