turned on the box and it stuck on one channel would not turn off .so i had to switch off at the back now no power to it nothing ..
anybody help pklease....

You checked your power lead.

Maybe shorted out with pulling from back and re-inserting.

take the top off (whitch will invalidate the guarantee) and see if any of the caps on the power board have blown or are bulging if all are ok press the small micro switch to reset the box

had a look nothing stands out reset the button but still no power..

ok dose the box get warm when it's left on for a while if not then we can take it that there is no power gowing through it so if you are shure the power lead is ok and the fuse in the plug is ok then 1 of the caps must have blown is there any way you can check them ie a meater or a neon screwdriver and make sure you switched it back on at the back it may sound daft but you would be suprised how many people do it

not that good with these things so dont have neon screw driver or a meater..thinking its dead and have to get a new cable box but which one
