    ex1000sl no led

    Hi,
I'm new here nice to meet you all. I'm an electrician/electronics guy. I dont own an ex1000sl but lots of my friends do. I have repaired a few faults on this equipment for friends and the faults have been related to the PSU.
However, I recieved a unit to look at for a friend the PSU appears fine, I get all the correct voltages going to the motherboard but there is no blue/red led illuminated. I not sure of the history of this unit but I was wondering if it is possible the guy has screwed up the software. My question is has anyone had this problem before. Is it possible to mess up the software and cause the unit's led not to illuminate???

    cheers Fosy

I have read through the Jtag stuff but until I can confirm that someone else has had the led not illuminating because of software problems, Im reluctant to try anything or recommend anything to the unit owner.

      thanks for you reply camelv.
