FTA software Ireland

Hi

is there a difference in the genuine FTA software used for Ireland and what gets supplied on a box when bought in England

all boxes usually shipped with fta software for legal reasons,you will need to update it with firmware for your box as some are for uk some for irl,most now say uk and irl.
irl has now got the n3 problem and there is nothing out [ yet ]to brig back lost channels.

the reason im asking is because i want to return the box

there seems to be no FTA only firmware avaiable for the 5100,

i guess i can try sending the box back with the irish FTA firmware on hopefully it would say uk and ireland as you suggest, i doubt it will work from a returns point of view as the version numbers are unlikely to be the same

anyone got any thoughts in this....... please

however i guess the most it should cost is a return postage
