eurovox 5100 PVR

A mate has one and after working fine for a few weeks he now gets the message ERROR " Hard Drive is full or not installed". The harddrive is clear so it cant be full..

this is a common problem mate. he needs to keep a five minute recording on his hard drive at all times. when he puts the first recording on the empty drive it may take up to 5 minutes to actually start to record so be aware of this also.

yes m8 do a scan deep on correct freq for your provider

Ok lets make sure, you have the latest firmware installed first.
do this> menu>config>system information>ok
Post the info you see there m8.

sorry it has no hard drive at moment
have downloaded firm ware on was able to voew all channels but now has has no signal then no channels ,then it also states that error hard drive full or not installed

Ok m8, the softwa*e is up to date, so that is OK.
Can you view ANY channels? (free view channels)
Are you sure the cable lead is in the RF IN socket on back of box?

yes checked that , no channels available ????
i had it at my house downloaded firm ware etc and all came up well put it in my friens no channels not even bbc !!!!! which i am fuinding very strange
