PLEASE HELP NEW USER - "NO OR BAD SIGNAL"

    Good Afternoon Everyone

I have recently bought a Eurovox EX1000SL. I currently subscribe to VM Broadband.

There is no problem with the scart connection as the installation process starts OK.

The box has been flashed with the new firmware and I have also installed all channels perfectly at a friends so the box isn't faulty.

I can only get 11 channels installed at my house and these are not named. When the installation is complete these channels simply say "no or bad signal".

I have tried several factory resets and have tried both symbol rates for my area which is Manchester.

I have also done deep scans and powerscans.

I have also taken off all splitters and tried it this way.

Has anyone had the same problem and does anyone have any reccomendations at all?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There seems to be a lot of problems with the signal in the Manchester area at the moment and the sl1000 seems to suffering the most.
U could try a signal booster and see if that helps.
Try scanning late at night or early in morning.
SLOWLY, OUR FREEDOM IS BEING ERASED.
SOON, WE WILL JUST BE A NUMBER.
IF WE DON'T FOLLOW, WE WILL BE ERASED.

      Thanks BadApple

I tried it a Friends who literally lives five minutes walk from me and everything was perfect at his - Like a few previous posts both my BB and old NTL box work fine so I don't believe it's a problem with the feed - It has to be that signal is either to high or to low?

i would recommend a complete reset of the box and reinstalation of the firmware followed by a power scan. make sure there are no splitters present in system when scanning
