    Eurovox 7000HD is unreliable???

I enquired today about purchasing a Eurovox 7000HD, but the box supplier said that they are unreliable. They suggested I would be better off with a dreambox500HD. Is that because thats all they have in stock, or are the 7000HD poor. Its for a mate and I don't need him calling me every 5 minutes. He currently has a 5100 which I set up for him.
    I would appreciate your comments.
    Thanks

I've had the Eurovox 7000HD about 7 months now and its quality the epg is just 12 hours ahead channel changing is slow but that will improve with new firmware in the future. People say it only has 5 or 6 hd channels but don't forget it up scales the channels to 1080i anyway and the picture better than the over Eurovox's and starview boxes hope this helps

The supplier is taking the pss. Tens of thousands have been sold with not many returned.
Its a case of the supplier can't get hold of enough EX700HD+. Get one and let "your mate" enjoy it.

Your supplier's talking out of their arse! The receiver that I class as unreliable is a SV 4! Methinks your supplier ran out and got some DM's in
Lose your memory sticks? Forget to backup? Why not get 2GB of free space online, and I get 250MB too

Some suppliers have been removed from the Eurovox distribution list and are struggling to get stock. I've heard suppliers claiming the EX5100 and EX1000 are dis-continued, others saying a new supply of EX5100 are coming into the country this week. I can still get genuine EX5100 and EX7000

Dank, if you were using the origional firmware that it came with you'd be watching freeview now.
