    eurovox max v

    please help i`m new to all of this , can someone point me in the direction to identify my box to see if`s a clone , dont want to brick it ! any help would be appreciated

      have taken lid off and the picture is different to mine any more ideas

        Can you see a silver heatsink box on the main board over the processor? If not you should be OK.

              well going by the tuner length on the board i either have a red or black box any more suggestions for fimware

                if its a eurovox max v then its a black if you are sure its not a clone then use this Digital Kaos - Downloads - eurovox max firmware

                    well my head is spinning a bit but according to the difference guide i either have a red or balck box , is there any other research i can do before flashing thanks in advance

                      if it says max v on the front and is black then its a black box if the screws inside on the board dont have red varnish on them then its not a clone flash with eurovox max v 1/12/08

                        yes it`s black but 3 screws have red varnish on them how many permatations are there ?

                          are the wires all screwed up or in a ribbon are the caps on the power board green or black dose it have a silver scart cover or a black one is the tuner the full length of the board

                            the tuner is not the full length of the board, silver scart cover ,the caps on the power board are black ,all wires are screwed up not a ribbon cable

                              well m8 looks like you have a clone i dont think there is a clone safe firmware for that box you can put the keys in manualy
