    Eurovox EX1000SL help

    Hi,
    Ive just purchased a ex1000sl and ive updated the firmware and scanned for channels as the guides say but its not detecting any channels whatsoever.
    Anyone know the problem?

      have you scanned on the correct symbol rate 6887 or 6952?

          Yeah i think so. i downloaded the document and my area is 6.887. I assume im plugged in correctly; i have my V*rgin coax cable plugged into RF in.

                      When you updated the firmware, did it say successful?

                          yeah it did. I shall try updating the firmware again just to make sure. i plugged it back in after the update and i think it said version 2.00. i only just downloaded the firmware from here so i assume its the latest version.

                                              Just to let you know that i have re installed the firmware to the box and tried a scan again but still with no luck. My signal strength is only 8% so i dont know if thats the problem. VM box works absolutely fine on it but the eurovox isnt picking up anything. Pain in the arse!!
