    Hi again, Can anyone help me out please

    My eurovox max v has been out of action since the last firmware roll over I had given up it but now giving it another try. I checked that it's not a clone, downloaded the firmware made sure both the computer and eurovox are at COM 3, the firmware finds the eurovox I then click download and the start button highlights I click start then the program just hangs/ freezes.
    Anyone had this problem before?
    Can someone please please help

      Mabey try changing the COM port m8, it should work on ports 1 to 4.
      If not try enter c*des>http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-v1-2-a-15751/

        Hi m8 are you useing the right firmware eurovox max v 1/12/08 and leave the box on standby and use a null modem cable

          thanks mate I'm sure I have the right cables as I've used them before with my old laptop but since having still laptop I've not been unable to get it eurovox max v to update
          going to try changing both ports to see if that helps

              I've entered the keys but I'm getting please wait,code being updated on most channels and as been on for quite a while now
              any ideas how long this should take?

                  Are you sure you have the correct keys for your provider. Please remember that you cannot post keys here.

                  I know you are having a problem updating the firmware but that is the best way of ensuring it will AU for you. What part of the UK are you in and I will check that you are using the sorrect provider.

                  The red stickies at the top of the Eurovox section will help you sort out most problems.

                    Should only take 20mins max.

                    Think you better to reset box and try again.

                            reset everything and start again m8. If it still dosent work use someone elses pc with a 9 pin serial socket. That way you have more of a chance of it working.

                            As for the cod*es, are you sure you used the correct ones for your provider.

                              I'll have to ask about to see if anyone has apin 9 pin serial socket

                              I think I'm using the right codes mate because my email ends in ntlworld and being in london i'm using the pure ntl keys, is this correct??
