Hi everyone,

Thanks for this site, very helpful people, i have just bought a EX5000 (Only a couple of hours ago...) and A usb to serial converter, i am just wondering how easy it is to set up the box? and where to find the code to update it,

Hello m8, you dont need co*es, just follow these guides to update the softwa*e and you will be up and running in no time.

Thanks, i have installed the driver for converter, followed the guide, Have the latest driver for it installed, and when looked for usb setting in device manager it was saying COM14, i changed this to COM3 but now it cant find it at all, so when i connect the usb my laptop wont load it up even tho i have the right file for it,

Sorry starting to relise im a little dumb with comp!!

Try changing to COM 1. and restart pc.
Normally its ok on ports 1-4.
You also need to make sure the drivers are installed proper othrwise it will not work and its the drivers that cause the problem normaly.
