    Help with Eorovox max v

    Hi guys,
need some help with a box as i'm in Afghanistan and can't get my hands on to sort out myself. My missus is back home and recently lost all the channels so, pulled out the antenna to plug into telly to get 1-5 normal. As there has not been any major dramas with FW recently I concluded that the problem should be easy to fix. So, I told her to plug it back in to see what the drama was. It is coming up with 'no signal'. Told her to go to menu then press the yellow button to get codes up and they where all set to 0 so tutored her and put the correct ones in and saved it before exiting. Checked the channels and still coming up with 'no signal. Back into codes and all reset to 0 again. Went through the whole process again but still no signal. Don't want to go through the process of trying to explain a fac reset so am after the following info: Which socket does the antenna plug into (can't remember and want to be sure) and, anyone got any ideas for me. Have set the trans to 54 01 as i am in the Andover area. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. P.S. It's friggin roasting here!

Have you got the latest firmware installed? Or do you manually update codes as it looks that way.

The incoming coax goes in the cable in RF socket on the back of the box.

      Thanks satsmo

Latest fw installed. don't usually have to manually update. Just checked it and it was all 0's

OK ask your Mrs to press menu - press OK - type 1968 on the RC and press the default key. Then exit all the way out and put it on Sly Sports 1 to update. Make sure coax is in cable in RF socket on the back of the box.

If you are reading the codes by pressing the menu and yellow button they will always appear defaulted as all zeros. This is only a quick input screen.

BTW hope you are enjoying the heat Hope you are all well there.
