7000 HD with a Usb Pen Drive

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on using pen drives, if there good? , what size is ample? , pen drive speeds etc etc,

    Any advice would be great.

    Cheers

Very roughly 2 Gb per hour of recording for SD channels. But this will vary according to type of programme and TS, HD recording will take up nearly three to four times that per hour. Instead of using a pen drive get a larger external USB drive if you are going to do a lot of recording.
