Newbie. Help Me!

Hello, I'm very new to the whole 'Eurovox' thing! Not extremely new though! I understand what it is, what it's for and what it does. Just not clearly enough!!

So... we want to buy a Eurovox 5100 PVR! We currently have a Virgin Box but we are thinking of downgrading to M package so we can get all the channels using the Eurovox. I understand it's illegal but don't almost everyone buy Eurovox for the same reason?

When we receive the box, we will plug all the wires to the right places and then what's after? I've heard about scanning channels and whatnot but is it hard to do? Is there anything else I should be aware of?

I need as mush answer as a newbie can get! Thank you lots to anyone who can answer these questions and help me!

Welcome to the forum. Take a look at the red stickies at the top of this section. They will guide you on how to set up your box when you receive it.

Also look around the threads here as they will have a lot of the info you require. If you need any specific questions answered please let us know.
