    Eurovox Max V....channel not currently available??

    Hi there

    Sorry to start a new thread but after looking at threads related to my problem ive still not found the answer.

    ive got an original eurovox max v with the latest firmware installed. when i scan for channels it appears to find various frequencies as they eventually appear but when the scan is finished and i exit, nothing appears apart from "channel not currently available". on the front of the box i get 0000. ive scanned several times on all the symbol rates with the same result. i know the symbol rate for my area is 6887 and i know my feed is live cus ive got another box that works perfect. ive done factory resets on both symbol rates and re-flashed the box to see if thats the problem. all of this makes no difference.

    does anybody have any ideas? please help. cheers

    ok there

    are you using spliter when your scaning for channels if so take that off....clear data do a factory default...try these thing if still will not work you might have a bad box sent it back hope this helps....

      as an addition to tomsta79
      see if you have got the transponders
      Menu/Installation/User installation/OK/ enter pin number
      if you see a list of transponders then press the red button to update channels (if there are no transponders there then you haven't done a successful scan)
