Newbie says hi & needs help

    Hello everyone,

i'm new to this and have just purchased the eurovox ex7000 hd+. I have all the cables in correctly and no splitter but my signal strength is only 12% and it cant find any channels when scanning. I have read other threads on this site about trying deep scan etc and still no joy....Any ideas please???

    Thanks

are you aware that there are 2 frequencys to scan on 6887 or 6592 dependant on where you are, if you select the wrong one you wont pick up much of a signal or find many transponders

if its in the rf slot and not finding channels it sounds like it ,,, do a factory reset and start again

                    sorry guys another newbie!!!

entered a pin hoping to stop kids from watching ~~~~ but mistakenly entered it at menu stage and now I'm locked out!

if I click on menu it asks me for the pin, which i enter, then nothing

does anyone know how to fix this or reset the box?

                        thanks,

have done the factory reset, when im at the 'full power scan' menu the signal strength is now jumping from 11% to 33% and back again?...but still no channels, is there anything on the menus that i could alter that may help?

If you try the codes that smirnoff_rules posted and they don't work, you'll have to reflash the box

to reflash you'll need a null modem cable m8
