7000hd Firmware

Hi all after spending loads of time messing with the fav's and deleting channels i dont want etc ive found a couple of things which i hope are just bugs with the firmware. Ive reflashed the box to be certain, if anyone can shed some light if there having any of the following,

clicking the OK button sometimes freeze's the TV channel list (so a switch off from the box is the only option).

When sorting Fav's out it puts channels in where u know you didnt put them ie. movies in sports.

1080i setting stays the same but the aspect ratio is different from channel to channel.

Any help here would be great

Re: Favs-
When sorting your favs only choose favs 1234 & 8. Favs 5 6 & 7 have a fault. Name 1234 & 8 with your favorites (sport movies etc.
Re the freeze- let the box boot before flying through the buttons.
These problems will be ironed out in future fimware releases i'm sure.

yes 5 6 and 7 are ok infact i dont have a problem with anything on this box only the crap epg but i can live with that

it brings up a limited epg with no info

The info is on the second press of exit.
I was just seeing if you had the pure new firmware and not a combination of the last two.
So on the 56& 7 issue, you don't have the top 1/12 channels coming across from you previous fav.

no i dont have any 5 6 7 issue i am using the 8/1/09 firmware with the 12/3/09 update and i dont get any programe info when i press exit a second time if i want to know what a programe is about i check it on my ex5000pvr in the bedroom

Im ex CW, with a s**rview box u have to tell it what you are before you scan but i take it with a 7000hd it auto knows what you are as ive seen nothing saying ex c&w.

Anyhow thank for the info on the other questions

now im lost

i scanned and recived channels, ok there is one channel i dont see now (arsenal) but no great loss heheh,

so how do i check symbol rate (my area is ex c&w)

sorry i sound like an idiot but ive only ever dealt with SV boxes before.

if you have all the channels then you must have scaned the right symbol rate 6887 or 6952 press info btn twice and you will find it there
