    Tempramental Eurovox 5100 (Newbie!)

    Guys,

I recently purchased a eurovox5100 with new firmware loaded from lincsat.

Generally it works well but occasionally I get major interference and blocky pictures, for some reasons this seems to be isolated mainly to the sky sports channels.

As I type all my channels are working fine apart from sports where I am getting a 'bad or no signal' message, prior to this it was working fine for the best part of 8 hours.

I have tried rescanning but with no luck, also tried the signal booster. The signal strength hovers at around 85% so I dont think there is an issue there.

    Any advice?!

85% is good i have heard from others it might be due to strong signal and to try a splitter also try other filmware in our download section good luck m8

Thanks for the reply mate, I am currently using a splitter as I have my internet connected as well.

It seems to be isolated to the sky sports channels which is quite unfortunate! It is also random as to when it plays up.

Strange, now I cant get signal on any of my channels (even though it was working beautifully this morning/afternoon), the signal keeps dropping from 85% to back down under 20%.

Getting really fed up with this now, seems like a waste of money!

Just as I posted everything seems to have fixed itself, completely bizarre and bemusing.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I set it up yesterday and had similar issues at around the same times yesterday...
