ive uploaded the channel lists onto usb stick and then edited them into favourites with sbtm editor, then when i loaded then back onto the box it just messes the favourites up. Any ideas where im going wrong? but when i go to edit them on the box the channels are already where i put them but dont show up when fav button is pressed. Any ideas guys?

IS IT JUST MESSING UP FAVS 5,6 & 7.
If it is its because theirs a blip in the firmware. -
nope its all 8, edited with editor fine and did all my channels on there, but when i tried loading it back on with usb it dowloads onto the reboots the box but all favs are messed up.Comment

Not sure then.
Sit down with a brew and edit the favs on the box.
Its quite therapeutic.

Hi m8 i tried stbm last night and got the same problem but it's ok when i sorted them with the remote press menu fav setup ok hilight the channel and press btn's 1 to 8 you can sort your favs by pressing menu , favourite manager , ok , red btn sort , hilight the channel , then the blue btn move ,when you are happy with where you have moved it to press ok i think the problem occurs when putting it back on the box i dont think it's a firmware problem but a problem with stbmif i helped hit the thanks btnComment

For the record, I had the same experience. After uploading my edited channel.tbn file all the favourites were messed up (I can't remember if they were mixed up or just the favourites groups were all blank).
Anything I edit with STBM doesn't seem to get read properly by the box.
I had to edit Favourites and tweak channel names manually in the end!Comment
