Add new channels to an EX1000

Flashed the box, created and downloaded a cdf file but there was no BBC3/4 probably due to scanning during the day.

Did a channel update and it didn't find BBC 3/4, it only finds them when you do a full scan, which deletes the channel settings - arrgh. So how do you add new channels without doing a full scan and losing all the channel settings?

It isn't even my box!! - its the brother in laws, I'm just setting it up. I can't stand the thing, I'm used to Dreambox's and DBox2's. Surely there's a better way of doing this?

Mines done that as well, I think you'll find BBC3/BBC4 on CBeenies and CBBC as they share the same transponder
