eurovox ex5100pvr scrambled channels

Hello everyone im new on here this is my first post im just trying to feel my way around im sitting here like a dog thats been shown a card trick very confused! my problem is thus i have a eurovox max v which works great and i have been crowing to my mate about how good they are so hes purchased a new eurovox ex5100 pvr i went round to set it up and after scanning it the channels are just coming up saying scrambled only the free to air channels are working! my limited knowledge ends there! anyone know what to do to stop me looking like a total plum, please help!

you need the latest firmware installed, go to the red stickies at the top of the eurovox page and read on how to flash the firmware then get the download here.
