I was just wondering. The people who have a EuroVox connected to their cable, do you pay for a subscription either minimum package or otherwise. If so, whats the reason behind this?

I hear some people pay for the minimum package or get the broadband. Why is this? Is it recommended?

The line has been unused for 6 years but the line is still on.


Also, whats the "Security Channel" which shows a warning about receiving VM channels through an unauthorised box.

If people decide to stop paying the minimum mothly subscription VM go bust and along with it goes the end of free cable TV. Just like what happened with ITV digital. If you have a VM phone line you get free TV anyway so no excuses really.

The codes you're probably talkin bout will be the freeview ones. With the eurovox you wouldn't need any codes. But the channels may not in their respectable places. So go through all your channels.

yes they are free, like Swiftie said you need to look through all of the "unnamed" channels. They will appear with a meaningless code as the channel name. This is where all the PPV stuff appears, suck as ~~~~, boxing and wrestling. You just have to search through them till you find what you want.
