EPG on EX7000

I've had the EX7000HD for a few weeks now and overall very happy except for a couple of quirks:

1) I do not get extended info on EPG, just the title of the programme. I am in Oxford but a friend in Brighton does have full EPG. I used to get this on my old (ancient) Eurovox 2;

2) The recall button tries to remember the last 4 channels viewed which is fine except it will only hop to channels in the same Favourites list so you cannot "recall" from a different Favourites list;

3) Have to press [OK] when scrolling through channels to view the channel in preview.

The first is the most annoying as I know it should work. Does anyone have any ideas for a "fix" (if one exists) for any of these?

the ex7000hd epg is very limited and will be till the powers that be fix the bugs then all your problems will fixed and so will mine and everybody els that has one it's a shame as this is a good box but . i dont think your friend can have a full epg

Just a quick update: my mate does get the full EPG - I have just seen it in action myself. Basically, in the Favs list he gets more than just the first line (normally program title for me) in the lower right-hand window and in full EPG list (pressing the EPG button twice) he gets full info in the bottom window when a program is selected.

I am on Symbol Rate 6887 whereas he is on 6952 - maybe that's the diff?

but has he got a ex7000hd box if he has then what firmware is on it i get full epg on all my other boxes ie ex5000pvr and eurovox max blue and max v the symbol rate has nothing to do with it it's the firmware
