    Eurovox ex5100 pvr Buzzing Sound

    Hi

Firstly thanks to everyone for creating a great forum. All the help has been very useful.

Anyway onto my issue. I purchased a ex5100 PVR a few months ago and ever since I connected it, it has made a buzzing noise. I am connecting using SCART and there is a direct connection to the VM feed outside the house. I know its not the TV as other sources do not make the sound. I tried the other SCART socket and the same.

Are there any settings I need to check? The signal is fine as all the channels come through fine without any blocking, etc.

Thanks in advance for your help.

      Hi

Thanks for the reply. I should have made myself clearer. Apologies.

I do have a hard drive but the sound it not coming from the unit. It is coming from the TV, almost like interference in the signal. Also there is an "interference line" moving up the screen (basically a whitish line moving up the screen).

Hope thats a little clearer :-)

      Thanks

          Hi

Thanks for the reply. I do not know what other connections this has. I will check when I get back home. I'm pretty certain it does not have HDMI, otherwise I definitely would have used that as a connection.

          Thanks
