Eurovox EX1000SL updating channels without losing cdf?

Hi first off im sorry if this question has already been answered, I had a look and couldn't find it.

I was wondering if theres a way on the eurovox ex1000sl to just update channels and not rescan all the channels, so that it will only modify the cdf with the new channels it finds and leave everything else alone. I'm asking this mainly because because I don't want to lose the on demand channels (that other people are watching) that I find each scan. Plus it would be nice to be able to just find new channels that have been added without rescanning all channels.

btw im using the latest firmware (UFL_EX1000SL_24-02-09_DarX) if that makes a difference.

Thanks bongy and camelv for your responses, I updated channels as you described bongy prior to posting. But BBC THREE and FOUR dissapeared, as when I did the rescan their transponders were being used by CBBC as happens during the day. I would have thought that updating would have just added the CBBC channels and not removed BBC THREE and FOUR, so that i could get the epg for both. Thats what lead me to believe that updating did a complete rescan, autosorting doesn't help matters for monitoring what new channels are added but I didnt wanna use the disabled autosort firmware as I read that it has bricked some boxes.

hi there, i was wondering if you managed to solve this problem, as i am having the same one, the kids watch cbbc in the day and sometimes i want to watch bbc3 but its such a pain to rescan.

            hi

i think ive sussed that like... try updating channels after 7.30 when bbc three and four come on air and when cbbc goes off.. thats way it will recieve all channels as bbc three does have its own frequency, just that it shows through on the cbbc channel after shed for seem reason and vice versa... was the same with freeview boxes... hope this helps

the 1100 is a newer version but they are a waste of time as nag3 has made them useless
