New eurovox EX1000SL

Hey everyone,

this my first post so bear with me, i have recently purchased a EX1000 SL and was under the impression they where plug and play, i had one loaned of a mate that worked fine but when i attached the new one it lost all channels apart from the freeview channels, and even some of them are scrambling now? Was just wondering if anybody had any ideas as to what i could do? i have read up and think the box may need flashing, but in the instructions it says save the cdf and dont know what that is, and am not sure what wires i require?

put the latest soft were from the dl section an u dont need to input the key it dose it auto mate an the tuts are at the top off this page i.e how to flash tut with firmwaer
