new here lost live events maybe?

Hi all i'm new here just a few question the other week i had all the channels on my eurovx including the pay per views although i had a lot of channels going pixelated and saying little signal error i heard that if i do a master reset it would help so i tried and i thought i lost all my channels at first i can do a quick scan and it finds em all again (see later) lots are still saying low signal but i think now i have lost my pay per view chaneels even tho i still have the ~~~~ channels its more the pay per view boxing and live events i want but i cant find them even after looking though all the tvchxx channels, any ideas? also if i deep scan it doesnt seem to find em? i'm sure its summat am just missin. also i am sure i saw something sayin about transponder missin is that bad?

Hi m8,
As above, but you should still have PPV events and PPV Sub in the channel listing.
If missing, best to do a clear data/factory reset and re-scan using the correct symbol rate for your provider.

well i have alot of the tvch 01 tvch02 etc... but for example when the wrestling was on the other week breaking point or summat i couldnt fint that on the tv ch channels?

also whats a transponder? if i am getting all the channels could i still be missin a transponder and it still find these?

i realise that i'm maybe asking a question thats been asked loads of times but how can i stop it pixelating its not on alot of channels but on one of the big movie channels and it bugs me.

by the way its a eurovox ex1000sl that i have anything i could do to improve it, i know a mate who has a cable to update the firmware i might try, i read i should back summat up first where would i find these files/folders to back up when i have plugged it up.

On my old box I used to get pixelation on a load of channels on the same frequency. It turned out to be a signal strength issue, not the box. Maybe that's your problem? If you have a splitter try removing it for a bit or try a different cable if it's coaxial...

Thanks to both replies i was out the night that the wresling was aired and i missed it i think that it shows again tho for a few days if i'm correct, can anyone confirm this? anyone know what times?

also the pixelation is now quite bad on all but i dont have a splitter its just straight cable to the box, i think your right though it could be a signal problem,

i did a master reset and followed the instructions i feel a bit more confident now that it maybe there, is there a way i could boost the signal? again maybe something thats covered before, only thing i would say when i plug the other box in i have no pixelation on the channels we usually get, would a firmware update sort me out?

any one know what a transponder is its summat that just buggin me but not really an issue anymore after the reset i think.
