eurovox ex1100 first impressions and cdf question

Hi
just got my ex1100 and here are my first impressions.
Opened box
did firmware upgrade via usb (link at Digital Kaos - Downloads - EX1100USB_SEP01.abs)
took about 20mins to scan
changed PVR settings
had NTL belfast and timesifting working
Left overnight and the EPG is loaded

Very simple, and easy box and does what it says on the tin.
WIthin an hour I'm watching my VM channels.

The next question is how do I make a CDF file for me to edit on a PC, as I dont want to do this via the on screen menu!
I can download the channel file to USB, but these are not CDF files.

I am ready with a copy of voxer but just need to download first. Once i get it I will be able to upload to this forum with for NTL Belfast.

I would also like to know how to edit the channel list with Voxer. The file I have on my stick is a UDF file and not a CDF file. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is a great box and I am well pleased with it.
I will also upload the edited CDF file for Birmingham when I eventually get it done.

Eurovox Ex1100 USB

i have just purchased a eurovox ex1100 usb off e-bay, it came today, havnt tried to set it up yet but im not very technically minded will i struggle to set this up and is there anything i should know (need to do) before i start??

any help would be hugely appreciated

the main thing remember is to make sure the power is off before inserting the usb stick in as it can brick the box other than just follow info in other ex1100 threads in here Eurovox

So you download the udf editor:
Digital Kaos - Downloads - UDF Editor (basic)

and then the channel list:
Digital Kaos - Downloads - Eurovox ex1100 usb channel list

Open all of udf editor click:File/open/ find udf file/open

All services and then tv not tv and radio

Just Bought Eurovox EX1100

I am probably being dumb and will find all the answers here after actually looking properly, but can I update my brand new box to decode VM channels? I actually subscribe to the full package so is it still illegal for me to do this? Not that I'm bothered! They have had several hndred pounds from me in the last 5 years!
