    Eurovox Max Blue UFL Firmware (30/11/08

    The owner of the EVOX BLUE said I could update it - so I aquired a NULL MODEM RS232 lead.....

    Much to my complete amazement, it connected STRAIGHT AWAY !! [Comm 1 and I have never got on very well in the past]

    Eurovox Max Blue UFL Firmware (30/11/08)

    FILE NAME: UFL_MAX_BLUE_30_11_08.exe

    1.The Loader said "Version 1.0 Software detected [I was in!]

    2.I clicked on download in the top half of the window.

    3."If box has been flashed before do not remove power lead, just wait a moment and it will start downloading."

    4. The firmware should now be flashing to the box. (dnld) will appear flashing on the front display. the process takes a few minutes so be patient.

    5. Once flash has completed (0000) will appear on front of box.

    BOX DETAILS BEFORE FLASH
    ==========================

    MODEL -- DVB-XC BOX

    SW 1.0. SSC4 OCT 20 2006

    HW VERSION 2.0 OCT 20 2006

    BOOTSTRAP V 0001 CA MODULE V1.7C

    ====================================
    BOX DETAILS AFTER FLASH [SOFTWARE UPDATED 17-09-09]
    ====================================

    MODEL- DVB-XC BOX STV

    SW 1.0 SSC4 JUN 01 2007

    HW VERSION 2.05s

    BOOTSTRAP V 001 CA MODULE V1.7C

    =====================================

    As you can see, the SW version is 1.0 SSC4 JUN 1 2007 -- not 30-11-08 as I expected ??!!

    Am I missing something simple? [as usual]

    Is this the final software version for this box??

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Cheers
