where can i get an ABS FILE EXTENSION to open ex1100 usb firmware?Cheers.James.

don't know if you are trying to do something different but you do not have to open the .abs file
you just need to put the file onto your stick then load it to your box using the menu/tools/upgrade by usb option

Many thanks,i tried upgrede by usb,but it comes up NO FILE.Any ideas?Cheers.James

I don't have the box but this is what I've read from others who have,
you need to download the file from here Digital Kaos - Downloads - EX1100USB_SEP01.abs
then put the file onto your stick
switch your box off and insert usb stick then switch box on
select menu/tools/upgrade by usb
highlight the firmware on your stick and press red to flash/OK to confirm and very shortly it should be flashed

once its flashed go into the language menu and press RED then 2520 on remote and this gives a screen where you need to turn EMU on (XCAS) then press green to save and exit
