Just inserted the new HDD on EX5100 PVR... now what?

When I press record/pvr it says 'harddrive full or not installed' etc...

I don't know what to do now! it's not working!
HELP!?

It says that if the HDD is empty, try to record something and see what happens

Actually, it works now but I can't see my recordings, they're all blank/black! And when I switch the Eurovox off and turn it back on, the PVR Menu is empty again! =(

just delete everything on hard drive and then start recording again,that will do the trick with most.

Last night, when I returned home from somewhere. I was able to view something I've recorded earlier! I got happy and then set True Blood to record itself before I went to bed. When I woke up the next day, there were no recordings left. Not even the one previously and the True Blood recording never happened! (I never switched the box off)!

Now I'm back to where I was in my last post! (above)
