Eurovox EX5100 - Channels and Favorites issue

I have flashed my Eurovox EX5100 PVR with the latest firmware and would receive all the channels for a few days. I then need to rescan the as the channels keep scrambling. Following the rescan my favorites become unsorted again. I have taken a backup of the channels after sorting them however when downloading the CDF file to the box, practically all the channels come up as scrambled.

I have even tried performing a manual scan hoping that would retain my favorites however that does not save the format either.

Can someone help...???

Hi try this it works on the ex 5000

AUTO SORT OFF B4 U MANUAL SCAN A CHANNEL/S
Go into Menu / Installation / Fast Install and press OK (enter pin)
Now press the red button on the remote for advanced install
Scroll down the options and turn Fav Sort off
then press exit (do not press OK) if you press OK all channel order will get sorted back to the default order
MANUAL SCAN ALL CHANNEL’S
follow AUTO SORT OFF After you press exit you get a list of frequency’s
press red button (update) to update all channels
MANUAL SCAN ONE CHANNEL
On the channel that’s scramble press the info button twice and make a note of the frequency at the top left, now follow AUTO SORT OFF when u press exit u get a list of frequency’s scroll down till you get to the frequency you made a note of and press ok to tick the box then press blue button for manual scan
