ex 1000 sl probs

Hi. Sorry for being daft. Been reading through forums for hours but still unsure of what I need and what to do. Idealy need the idiots guide from start to finish. Was given R232 female to male lead with box but take it this is wrong. What do I need (dont have 9 pin port on comp other than monitor connector). Also how do I connect from splitter to box? At splitter there is a scew connector but at box there is only standard plug (like back of tv). Really appreciate any help.

hi mate you need to look here all the cable requirements are explained for laptop and or desktop http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-eurovox-9786/ as for the splitter you nee to get one of these

this is self explanitary really the wire from the cable out of the wall goes to the single side then you have two pins so you have now split the cable. hope this helps any probs post back

EX1000 SL

Hi all, not sure if this is right place to post, sorry if isnt. iv got the EX1000 SL and installed the right firmware as i am getting all the channels but the channels are jumping so i changed the freq 666.750 for the Wirral where i live and BBC 1 comes up as a Virgin channel now, ITV is a music channel and so on for all the rest. The menu says BBC 1 just it's a different channel. Please help

EX 1000 SL

Does anyone know how to edit the frequency for just a single channel because the channel is jumping. Iv gone onto User Installtion but it only shows about 50 of my channels 1-50 and i have 270 odd.
