    Can EX1100USB Play .avi files?

    Plus, which one is better; Starview 4 or this one?

      Heres some info i found earlier

      The EX1100 records in standard .mpg format to play back on any PC, this has the advantage of you being able to play back .mpg files from your PC on the EX1100, it also plays back MP3?s

              Concerning your original question I am pretty sure the STARVIEW 4 won't play .AVI files -- rather preferring it's
              own .TS format..............
