    Ex7000 HD question about starting

    Hiya,

Firstly I would like to apologise for what may be a stupid question....
I have brought a EX7000 HD and got it yesterday. All connected up. Turned it on and got system menu and noticed Firmware old. Upgraded that easy via USB and thats fine. But what happens now??????
I am currently doing a deep scan with my correct signal number for my area.
Its picking up things on the screen but after its finished will it just go onto the TV??
Sorry but really new to this...... :-(

Thanks for all your help in advance.

Currently spending time sat in front of tv trying to work out whats going on!!! I am doing a deep install on symbol 6887 and i think its working. It says things like 323MHz, 6887KSym, 64QAM and lots of others. Its only 38% through on progress but does this means its working? Are these channels?

i will be home in a few and will look it up for you did you try the bigmac tool bar it gives you a list of providers and the latest codes for that region if you get this i will get back to you if i can be of help but the download section might already have your provider and channel dump sorted in the form of a tbn file

Just checked the Providers List as above.........

Have you tried scanning using the Box's default -- which maybe 6952 -- not sure as I've never used a 7000 [too poor!]

My Area Code is 6887 as well -- but I got nothing at all on that until one of the many good guys on here suggested that I try the Box's default 6952 -- I now have 263 Channels.......

I don't know if this is any help -- but maybe worth a try !!

All the best - and keep in touch!!
