As far as i am aware, you need a live signal coming from your cable supplier (virgin).

Hi and welcome to DK, connect up your box and run a scan. If the line is live you will get loads of channels although only the free to air will be viewable. If its dead, you will get nothing.

Another way to test the line for life is to plug it into a free view tv and scan the tv for channels and you should pick up free channels, bbc, itv, ch5. Firmware is available on here.
If the line is dead, you will have to get re-connected by VM.

As i always say when this crops up. Subscribe. Take the lowest package, that way you have a live feed constant and you get all your channels for free and Virgin get paid something in return. Give a little get a lot

        THE TRUTH
        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.
