eurovox max display says 7247

my eurovox max display on the front of the box says 7247 and no picture on screen can anyony help

Have you tried to re-flash it? Although sounds like a Jtag may be required, however try this first as the scart may just need to be reset:

1) Connect Eurovox to TV using TV/VCR aerial connection on back of box with a coax lead as opposed to a scart connection..
2) Plug Eurovox into mains and switch on.
3) Tune in a spare channel on your TV until you see the Eurovox.
4) You will see a request to enter a PIN ? use the master PIN 1004.
5) Enter Menu and go to ?Config?.
6) Go to ?Clear Data?.
7) Enter PIN ? 1004
8) Go to ?Factory Default?, click OK.
9) Click on your Symbol rate, either Symbolrate(6887 for N**, 6952 for Telepest & C&* or 6875 for Ch**us).Press OK.
10) Click OK when the warning comes up.
11) Exit and then load your CDF if you have one, if not look for one for you area provider in our CDF section in downloads or carry out a fresh scan.

going though the TV/VCR aerial connection on back of box with a coax lead as opposed to a scart connection works the problem now is you cant see the writing its all been pixulated. so i cant get to the factor reset

this is the sequence to do a factory default reset on your box without being able to see whats happening on the TV screen.

with your box connected to TV as normal
switch your box on and make sure you point the control at the box
very carefully enter the following sequence

1004
menu
right,right,right (arrow keys)
down,down (arrow keys)
OK
1004
down
OK,OK,OK

wait a few minutes whilst box resets itself and hopefully you will get a distorted picture showing that your scart is working again.
then reflash with the correct firmware

im having the exact same problem with my box ive got it running through the scart now but all the words are still pixalated any help please cheers

this problem generally arises when a clone has been flashed with the genuine firmware
if you have done the above procedure you now need to reflash the box, use the clonesafe version Digital Kaos - Downloads - Eurovox Blue Clonesafe UK Fix 011208
