Newbie needing help!!!!

Hi

I really need some help. Have just got a EX1100 and am having trouble getting the channels.

Have run the firmware update EX1100USB_SEP01.abs as instructed. This seemed to run ok although is it normal that it loads at a normal pace for the first 40% and then whizzes through the rest in a second?

Have then gone into the language menu to enable the emulator by pressing red 2520, but all it does is save. No option comes up to turn it ON.

If I do a scan for channels it finds nothing.

Turns out I wasn't, although I was putting in the right rate for my area 6887, as instructed by some else, but after a factory reset and rescan the box set itself to 6952 and hey presto everything works. Sorted. Dunno whether I'd misunderstood the instructions, but anyway sorted. Its fantastic.
